Dr. Li Pi Shan is a clinical associate professor for the Division of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) in the Department of Clinical Neurosciences, University of Calgary and Alberta Health Services.

Dr. Li Pi Shan graduated with his MD (with great distinction) from the University of Saskatchewan in 1998, and then moved on to complete his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R). Before coming to Calgary, Dr. Li Pi Shan worked as an Assistant Professor, Residency Program Director, and Undergraduate Program Director for PM&R at the University of Saskatchewan.

 As a Physiatrist, Dr. Li Pi Shan specializes in Brain Injury Rehabilitation, Spasticity, Electromyography, and ALS. He has published as lead investigator in a number of peer-reviewed journals. He is also an Executive Committee Member and Chair of the Neuromuscular Special Interest Group, Canadian Association of PM&R.
