Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation

Dr. McGowan and Dr. Hill follow patients who have neurologic impairment resulting from spinal cord abnormalities from acute care, through rehabilitation and in the SCI outpatient clinics.  149 patients were seen in consult in acute care.  Of the 64 patients admitted to the in patient rehabilitation unit with spinal abnormalities essentially on half were a result of trauma.  37 new patients were seen in the outpatient clinic and 358 were seen in follow-up.
