Dr. Denise Hill is a Clinical Assistant Professor for the Department of Clinical Neurosciences, University of Calgary. Dr. Hill completed her medical degree from McMaster University in 1997. She moved on to complete her Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR) residency from Dalhousie University, her PMR Royal College exam, and her CSCN in Electromyography, all in 2002. Dr. Hill moved to Calgary to explore the western part of Canada, to work in SCI rehabilitation, and to do focus on electromyography (EMG). Clinically, Dr. Hill’s work focuses on rehabilitation of spinal cord disorders, and Electromyography. She is also the Paranordic Team Physician with Cross Country Canada. In addition to her clinical activities, Dr. Hill is also conducting research focused on sublesional osteoporosis. Dr. Hill has five peer-reviewed publications, and her work has been supported through grants from the Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre Foundation/Research Fund and Pfizer.
